Welcome!
Welcome to my blog series. I will begin by introducing myself and what my blog is all about. My name is Tiffany, I'd prefer to be called Tiff and if you really want to get on my good side, call me Ocho. I'm a professional soccer player and Connecticut native looking to cross the border in a few months to the country up north. I'll be playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the W-League. I have traveled the world playing the game I love. It has taken me to Penn State University where I graduated with a degree in Journalism. From Penn State, I played two seasons for a semi-pro team in CT. Then the traveling began. I've played professionally in Finland, Brazil, San Jose, Boston and Stockholm, Sweden. There is a ton to know about me, but I think that's the reason you'll continue to read this blog. The series I am beginning here is called "50 Things Soccer Has Done For Me". My goal with this is for you to see the importance of playing the beautiful game from the eyes of someone who truly sees the value. I have learned more on the field than any classroom, lecture, TV show, movie, song or person can ever provide. I picked 50 because I thought that was a reasonable number. I don't think 10 would suffice and 100 made my wrists cringe.
Feedback is welcomed. Banter is encouraged. Just be sure that the word gets out there that this game... this fabulous game, is so much more than what meets the eye.
